Last night my family had tacos for dinner. Home made meat/bean mixture, your usual taco veggies (lettuce, tomato [which is a fruit technically]), an assortment of cheese, and ranch dressing is what we usually have to make our tacos. As you can see, I am a fan of using the Old El Paso yellow corn taco shells. I usually eat about 5 every time we have tacos. I finished off a box that we had, and I was very disappointed with the last shell from the box. The opening was narrow, making it almost impossible to put anything inside of it. I struggled for at least 2 minutes to assemble my taco...that's 2 minutes that I could've spent eating a taco that took me less than 30 seconds to prepare!!! Fortunately, we had another box of hard shells. But this box was different. It was much more...glorious. You could feel the greatness emanating from it. Then, THIS bad boy came to the rescue as I was about to prepare another taco. I wish I had the box to reference to right now, but take a look at this taco...what do you see?
Can you see it yet? Maybe we should try one more time...
Look right above this text.
Notice the flat surface on the base of the taco. This flat surface allows the taco to sit up straight, no matter what is in it!!! Every other shell has a rounded base, so you can't stand it up like that! And not only that, but having a flat surface means that you can fit MORE stuff in there!!! This is like the Big Mac of hardshell tacos!!! Imagine what a promotion this could be for the taco food chains around the world! Taco Bell, Del Taco, Taco Maker, Taco Time....if you used these type of shells I am confident your customers would BEG at the register to get one of these. You could even charge a bit more for them if you want! It's a win win! You get your money, we get what we pay for. This is seriously such a good idea!! I hope you realize the breakthrough this is in the realm of food.
Tacos just got tastier, my friends!!
You can thank this kid.
